Black Triangle UFO was a cause of a recent aircrash in Pakistan?

I know a lot of Pakistanis don't believe in the existence of UFOs or aliens but could the nation's latest tragedy be caused by an UFO?

Well according to some unconfirmed reports that's what happened. Reports have suggested that the apparent cause of the deadly Bhoja Air's Boeing 737-200 crash in Islamabad could have been due to a UFO sighting by the pilot.

A Russian news report by 1TV.RU covering the crash (which was also posted on YouTube) incorporates footage of three mysterious lights moving in formation, leading to a heightened speculation in the UFO community that extra-terrestrial craft could be blamed for the tragic accident.

According to another source at Gather.com, there are rumours that the pilot may have been buzzed by the object and that he complained to the control tower at Islamabad's Benazir airport as he made his approach.

The object in question (pictured above) seen on the video footage resembles the class of UFO known as the "Black Triangle". Reports generally describe this class of UFOs as enormous, silent, black triangular objects, hovering or slowly cruising at low altitudes over cities and highways, usually at night and making no attempt to evade detection. These objects are often described as having "running lights", either bright white lights or pulsing coloured lights that appear at each corner of the triangle. Such lights can be seen in the footage and the frame taken from the footage as well.

The Black Triangle UFOs have been reported numerous times in recent years but never have they been reported as a cause of a crash. They were seen during the 1989-1990 Belgian UFO wave, the 1997 Phoenix Lights incident & January 2000 Illinois incident.

The Belgian UFO wave peaked with the events of the night of 30/31 March 1990. On that night Control Reporting Centre received calls that three unusual lights were seen in the sky. The lights were reported to be brighter than stars, changing colour between red, green and yellow, and appeared to be fixed at the vertices's of an equilateral triangle.
A patrol was sent out to check on these reports but approximately 10 minutes later a second set of lights was sighted moving towards the first triangle. In the meantime the patrol reported in that they confirm the sightings. These unknown objects were even tracked on radar and two F-16s were scrambled from the Beauvechain Air Base.
Over the next hour the two scrambled F-16s attempted nine separate interceptions of the targets. On three occasions they managed to obtain a radar lock for a few seconds but each time the targets changed position and speed so rapidly that the lock was broken. During the first radar lock, the target accelerated from 240 km/h to over 1,770 km/h while changing altitude from 2,700 m to 1,500 m, then up to 3,350 m before descending to almost ground level – the first descent of more than 900 m taking less than two seconds. Similar manoeuvres were observed during both subsequent radar locks. On no occasion were the F-16 pilots able to make visual contact with the targets and at no point, despite the speeds involved, was there any indication of a sonic boom.

After chased by two Belgian Air Force F-16's, the UFOs were photographed and sighted by an estimated 13,500 people on the ground – 2,600 of whom filed written statements describing in detail what they had seen. Finally at around 01:30 the lights started making jerky movements and began gradually loosing luminosity & disappeared.

Black triangles are often the subject of much speculation in the 'ufology community' and various conspiracy theories, as well as more skeptical hypotheses. Common explanations include:

- craft of extra-terrestrial origin,
- top-secret military aircraft containing suppressed or reverse-engineered anti-gravity technology (and could this anti-gravity be the cause of the 737 loosing altitude and crashing),
- misidentifications of one or more conventional aircraft such as B-2 Spirit stealth bomber or another black project aircraft similar to the retired F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter ( the turbulence wake by the aircraft could have lead to the sudden loss of control of Bhoja airliner).

In the end all I would like to say is that its all open. What if its true? What if it was a UFO that brought the plane down? Or was it an American stealth spy plane roaming around Islamabad violating our airspace undertaking some sinister agenda or another secret mission like the OBL capture?
